I invite you to familiarize yourself with the innovative solution
that I have developed for the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises DAWLIROOB
See what Earth is doing for you

The DAWLIROOB Tool

WHAT IS IT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

The Decision-making Assistant for the Location Selection of Biodegradable Waste Organic Recycling Installation DAWLIROOB, developed in the MS Excel spreadsheet environment, supports the process of selection of a location for the installation of biodegradable waste organic recycling.

The aim of support is to choose
the most advantageous location
of the municipal waste biological treatment installation (hereinafter IBPOK) based on the segregated biodegradable fraction (BIO) of municipal waste for energy production on the example of a selected poviat/county in the Masovian Voivodeship/Province.

The planned project may be one of the basic elements of management

system in the region regarding waste management, and simultaneously produces green electricity.

The solution might be ultimately used as a tool for the needs of, among others, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking for locations of ecological investments in the field of waste management.

The tool was developed in the MS Excel spreadsheet environment and requires macro support to be enabled while running.

The folder consists of:

1

Sheets containing data on potential locations of an analyzed investment
(“Gmina/commune A“, “Gmina/commune_B“, …, “Gmina/commune_F“)

2

The “EvaluationMatrix” sheet contains an evaluation matrix of investment locations variants, to which data is automatically downloaded from
the sheets “Gmina/commune A”, “Gmina/commune”, …, “Gmina/commune_F”. The so-called “Ideal point”, is calculated in evaluation matrix i.e. a fictitious variant of an investment location with the best scores of all criteria, occurring in the considered location variants. The ideal point will be used in the compromise programming method to determine the most advantageous location

3

“Weight of criteria” sheet assigns weight values to individual
groups of criteria

4

“Sum of grades“, and ” compromise threshold” spreadsheets contain decision-making rules enabling the introduction of a ranking of location variants from the most favourable to the least favourable
